The minutes were read from the last committee meeting and all was accepted and proposed by John m0cqv
seconded by Tony
Mike will have the accounts up to date for next week open meeting,
We are on track with the work around the club and all is looking good
the toilets are to be jet washed and painted and some vinyl
flooring put down.
Pete is hoping to get a sink for the kitchen
from work cheap for us
The special event station at abbey pumping station is coming up we are having a dmr hf and vhf station running so the conditions shouldn't matter.
Letters are to be drafted by the committee to derek and roger about g3lrs and g5um about taking back the call signs and having them
back within the club and held by club members.
WW1 special call sign for the 100th year anniversary
we hope to get gb0lwf.
Chris has offered to pay for the qsl cards for this special event/call,
The membership is slowly increasing,
IOTA coming up end of july so next committee meeting we will discuss tatics
The club has been using the g6xx call for the world cup we have hosted it during june and into july.
The website has been looking good thanks to phil who keeps it up to date,
Mike mentioned that when we have speakers the members should keep quite as a few times talking at the back of the lecture room has spoilt it for other members trying to listen to the talk and it is very rude towards the speaker
